Kiki van Eijk

We LOVE working with Kiki van Eijk !

We worked together on a wonderful project together with her partner Joost van Bleiswijk. Which resulted in the Tudor series for MOOOI, which has been a part of the collection in many years.

We fell in love with her work and became friends. We have also woven the birth cards for their children for example and collaborated on a big room divider representing the 4 seasons, which was also a translation of the beautiful collages Kiki makes, naturally she had to be part of the WEEEF family.

In the WEEEF collection we have 2 small sized artworks and 3 medium sized artworks. We hope you like her work too !

Kiki lives in a peaceful farmhouse in Eindhoven and works in a warehouse where she makes fantastical things. She looks at the delicate small details of nature with joy and delight and uses colors with uncommon intuition. Her beliefs? Imagination is more important than knowledge! She is never in a hurry.

Kiki grew up in Tegelen, a small city in the Netherlands. She spent her youth immersed in nature, daydreaming and drawing.

She is now one of the most accomplished names of Dutch design. She studied at the Design Academy of Eindhoven where she met her future partner, Joost van Bleiswijk. Inspired by a childlike sense of wonder and the smallest details of the everyday, Kiki’s world is whimsical and colorful, lyrical and personal, yet refined by a rigorous attention and skillful craftsmanship.  She established her studio in 2000, following her graduation Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven.
